Carrier oils
Carrier oils are used in aromatherapy, a complementary therapy where various essential oils are applied to the body to aid both physical and emotional health and well-being. Carrier oils dilute the concentrated essential oils so they can be applied to the skin without side effects.
Apricot Kernel oil
This oil is antibacterial and anti- inflammatory, it is a lighter oil great for acne prone and oily skin types. It has very little scent and absorbs into the skin quickly
Avocado oil
Best used on aging skin and boosting collagen production, rich in protein and vitamins A, D, and E
Neem oil (Azadirachta indica) Neem Oil is cold pressed from the fruits and seeds of the neem tree an evergreen tree native to India. Neem contains important fatty acids, carotenoids, vitamin E and antioxidants, making this blend of compounds a soothing and moisturizing skin formula. Neem is widely used in body care products like soap, creams, lotions, and even cosmetics. Is often used in hair care products to help promote hair and scalp health. Used in toothpastes to help promote teeth and gum health. Works great in natural insect repellents for the body. Is also commonly used in insecticides for plants.
Witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) has been used for centuries to naturally help heal and prevent: Acne, Eczema, skin sores, razor burn, ingrown hairs, sun damage, cracked and blistered skin, allergic reactions It can be used as an ingredient in cosmetic and medicinal preparations, and can be used to help soothe skin. It may be combined with other ingredients or herbs, or is gentle enough to be used alone. Can be used to help promote scalp and hair health. When mixed with water and sprayed, witch hazel can also be used to help reduce or remove stale odors and pet odors in the air, and on some surfaces. Witch hazel can also make an effective household cleaner, either alone or combined with other solutions.
